Students are expected to learn the definition of each word, along with the spelling during the week they are assigned.

 

Spelling/Vocabulary Words

  1. Attractivepleasing or appealing to the senses.

  2. Evidentlyplainly or obviously; in a way that is clearly seen or understood.

  3. Delinquentshowing or characterized by a tendency to commit crime, particularly minor crime.

  4. Duplicate- exactly like something else, esp. through having been copied

  5. Anonymous(of a person) not identified by name; of unknown name.

  6. Optimismhopefulness and confidence about the future or the successful outcome of something.

  7. Perseverancethe quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it is difficult.

  8. Preoccupyto occupy beforehand or before others.

  9. Questionnairea set of printed or written questions with a choice of answers, devised for the purposes of a survey or statistical study.

  10. Sincerelyin a genuine way.
