Words of The Week

Students are expected to learn the definition of each word, along with the spelling during the week they are assigned.
Spelling/Vocabulary Words

Attractive– pleasing or appealing to the senses.

Evidently– plainly or obviously; in a way that is clearly seen or understood.

Delinquent– showing or characterized by a tendency to commit crime, particularly minor crime.

Duplicate- exactly like something else, esp. through having been copied

Anonymous– (of a person) not identified by name; of unknown name.

Optimism– hopefulness and confidence about the future or the successful outcome of something.

Perseverance– the quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it is difficult.

Preoccupy– to occupy beforehand or before others.

Questionnaire– a set of printed or written questions with a choice of answers, devised for the purposes of a survey or statistical study.

Sincerely– in a genuine way.
